Floppy Bob Privacy Policy

Effective 15 October 2026 · Starlight Web, United Kingdom · Applies to the Floppy Bob app (package com.starlightweb.floppybob) and the web version at floppybob.com

The short version. Floppy Bob does not ask you to create an account and we do not collect your name, email address, contacts, location or anything that identifies you personally. Your progress is saved on your own device. The free version shows adverts served by Google AdMob, which uses your device's advertising ID. The optional one-off Premium purchase is handled entirely by Google Play.

1. Who we are

Floppy Bob is made and published by Starlight Web, a sole trader based in the United Kingdom. For anything about this policy or your data, email support@floppybob.com.

2. What the game stores on your device

This data lives in the app's private storage. Uninstalling the app deletes it. We cannot see it.

3. Adverts (free version)

The free version shows short adverts between levels, served by Google AdMob. To show and measure adverts, Google may collect your device's advertising ID, approximate location derived from your IP address, and general device and app-usage information. This is governed by Google's Privacy Policy and how Google uses information from partner apps. Adverts are configured as not child-directed. You can reset or delete your advertising ID at any time in your device's Google settings, and in the European Economic Area and the UK you will be asked for consent before personalised adverts are shown.

Players who buy Premium see no adverts, and no advertising SDK calls are made for them.

4. Purchases

Premium is a one-off purchase made through Google Play Billing. Google processes the payment; we never see your card or payment details. We receive only a purchase token that tells the app Premium is unlocked. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.

5. Age and content

Floppy Bob's default "Sausage Dog" version is suitable for everyone. The over-18 "Dirty Mode" contains adult innuendo and is locked for anyone whose stated age is under 18. Where Google Play provides an age signal for your account, we use that signal to decide whether Dirty Mode may be unlocked; we do not receive your date of birth or identity documents from Google.

6. Sharing

The Share button builds a short line of text (your time and score) and hands it to your device's share sheet. Nothing is sent to us. What you share, and with whom, is your choice.

7. Analytics and crash reporting

We do not use third-party analytics. If the app crashes, Google Play may send us anonymous crash statistics under the Play Console vitals programme, controlled by your device's usage and diagnostics setting.

8. Children

We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children. Adverts are configured as not child-directed. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, email us and we will delete it.

9. Your rights

Because we hold no personal data about you, there is normally nothing for us to access, correct or delete. For data held by Google (advertising, purchases) use Google's own controls at myaccount.google.com. You can still contact us about anything in this policy and, if you are in the UK or EEA, complain to your data protection regulator (in the UK, the ICO).

10. Changes

If we change what the app collects, we will update this page and the effective date above, and material changes will be described in the app's update notes.
